Therapies Used
Cold Laser Therapy
Also known as Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT). Cold Laser therapy is helpful intreating various musculoskeletal conditions. Cold laser therapy can help reduce inflammation, can help with pain reduction and help with tissue regeneration. LLLT is a non-invasive light source treatment that generates a single wavelength of light. It emits no heat, sound, or vibration. It is also called photobiology or biostimulation. LLLT is believed to affect the function of connective tissue cells (fibroblasts), accelerate connective tissue repair and act as an anti-inflammatory agent. Cold Laser Therapy is also pain free.
Interferential Therapy
Interferential therapy works by sending small amounts of electrical stimulation to damaged tissues in the body. The therapy is meant to boost the body’s natural process for responding to pain, increase blood flow and the production of hormones that promote healing.
